Ease of
Use:
As with the other top
registry cleaners, RegCure is fairly easy to
use. The user interface is fairly
intuitive with the use of point and click
wizards making RegCure easy to setup and
use even for computer
beginners.
Effectiveness:
Regcure is a very
solid registry cleaner and did a very
commendable job of finding and repairing most
registry errors, although when compared
directly to Registry
Mechanic it did fall a bit
short. It also was very close to
Registry Mechanic
in terms of boosting overall system performance
as well, with noticable increases in the 50
-75% range in some
instances.
It also comes with some great features as
well, including the ability to perform deep
scans as well as defragment your
registry. While not a feature
packed registry cleaner, it does provide the
necessary tools to effectively clean your
registry without all of the bells and
whistles.
Features:
- Backup/Restore
- Registry
Defragmentation
- Deep
Scan
- Startup Program
Management
- Ignore
Lists
- Scheduled

Knowledgebase/FAQ
Support
:
RegCure offers
much of the same standard support options as
many of the other top registry
cleaners, including email support with
the exception of one thing - they do offer a
knowledgebase and list of FAQs on their
website which you may not always find
with other cleaners. If there was one
thing I wish it offered that it
does not, it would be the live web support
as it is a nice support feature to
offer but all things considered their
support is very good if not
great.
Conclusion:
Regcure is a fully
capable registry cleaner that will do a very
respectful job of detecting and repairing
errors within your system's registry and when
combined with its ability to defragment your
registry, you will definitely see a noticable
improvement in system performance as
well.
RegCure also
comes with
just enough features to be
considered a highly effective registry cleaner,
although it does lack some of the bells and
whistles that can take your registry cleaner to
an elite level.
All things considered, you
could do a lot worse than Regcure - but you also
could do considerably better.
